Routine Servicing
Routine servicing is an essential part of keeping you espresso machine in operation. Having your machine serviced yearly drastically reduces the chance of a un-planned outage. As part of our service schedule we record the intervals of servicing and will contact you and reminder you when your machines services is due. The service itself takes one hour and includes the following:-
- Replacing anti vacuum valve O-ring
- Cleaning scale and tarnish from level probe
- Replace steamer/water font valve pads
- Clean and grease steamer/water font valves
- Clean groups and replace group gaskets
- Check machine is running at correct pump pressure
- Check water temperature and flow
- Any other remedial work necessary
Full Service / Machine Refurbishment
Fully services are off site services carried out at our purpose built workshop. These services involve a full strip down, service and rebuild of the machine. The machine will be dismantled, all brass and copper parts will be de-scaled to remove any lime scale build up. All panels and chassis are cleaned and de-greased. The machine is then re-assembled with all new seals and gaskets.
Calcium / Limescale Protection
All water contains varying amounts of calcium. As the inside your machine heats and cools this calcium leaves deposits. Espresso coffee machines are complex systems of narrow hydraulic pipes and electro mechanical devices all of which will be affected by calcium (lime scale) build up
Lime scale damage will reduce the working life of your machine and cause unwanted breakdowns.
To protect your machine we provide calcium treatment Units to reduced the calcium in the water to an acceptable level. Using a CTU (Calcium Treatment Unit) will prolong the life of your machine and prevent breakdowns
Grinder Service
Over time coffee grinders become clogged and their blades become dull. This will affect the quality of the coffee you are producing.
We can provide a simple offsite service that will bring your grinder back into good working order and make the most of the coffee you produce.
